In order to honor the longstanding belief of Thai people, Pol Gen Somchai Vanichsenee, the President of Ganesh Khlong Khuean Association and Thongpratharn Foundation together with his team constructed a 39-meter-tall bronze statue of Lord Ganesh in his standing posture, also known as the “success granted form”. The statue consists of 854 bronze pieces and was built on a 40,000 square meter plot of land in the Khlong Khuean district of Chachoengsao. Its purpose is to watch over the land and exist in harmony with the local way of life and economy. The construction of the statue began in 2008 and was completed in 2012.
At Ganesh Park, visitors can worship a diverse range of gods, such as Lord Hindu, Chinese deities, goddesses, and Brahma. In addition, our one-stop service includes a coffee shop with a river view, a local products shop, and an amulet shop.
“The crowning ceremony is a ceremony to honor Lord Ganesh for faithful people or students of Ganesh. It is a way to demonstrate humility and gratitude.”
The important days for Ganesh and Hindu religious celebrations are counted by full moon or half moon and are believed to come from the Marathi calendar.
